Spent the day walking around Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city has a lot of French influence in the architecture, which line the river with villas.
We went to Wat Xieng Thong one of the most important Lao monasteries.
There were some really pretty mosaics
Janelle needed to dress conservatively
We climbed to the top of Mount Phou Si to watch the sunset. The views were spectacular.
As you can see in the picture above the rains were on their way and we quickly headed down the hill to the protection of the night market umbrellas where I bought a pair of fisherman pants for myself.
