Goodbye Canada

Saturday the girls had a dress rehearsal for their dance recital next weekend and I went to watch them and to also help. I helped in the photo room and wrote down the number of the best picture of each dancer, so they photographers would know which picture to use. Being a photographer on the side would be extremely profitable, or better yet, doing the paperwork and processing and just paying the photographer for his time. Once you buy the back drops and pictures (assuming the photographer doesn't have their own) costs are so minimal and profits are HUGE. That would definitely be an opportunity to look more into.

I have now made plans for post Canada. I am going to visit my college roommate Prajwal in India for a month. I looked online for tickets and the cheapest day I could find was the coming up Thursday, so I had to say goodbye to everyone and head out of Canada to get back to Saint Louis to prepare and head out.

The forecast for Sunday was lots and lots of rain, so my uncle put Rain-X on my windows. I've never used Rain-X before, I'm too cheap, it is awesome, it makes rain roll off the window little marbles. It makes it so much easier to see everything!

On my way out of Canada I drove to Niagara Falls. I've never been there before and figured that since I was so close I should go and check it out. Niagara Falls is incredible, it's an enormous waterfall along the Canada, USA border in New York. The time I spent in the woods has made me look at things differently. There are so many things to do at Niagara Falls, but it's all rides and wax museums. I wish that stuff were in a cow pasture somewhere and that Niagara Falls were a state park, with natural grass and no roads. Not that it isn't still beautiful, I just think it could be more if only it weren't so commercialized.

This blog post is very lame and I apologize for that. As I stated earlier I leave for India on Thursday and will have more exciting things to write about at that time. I cannot wait!
